Kaycee Shiskowsky is the Manager of Clinical Planning and Design at UCHealth. She has over 25 years of diverse hospital nursing experience, including 9 years across acute care units (Oncology, Cardiac, Medicine, Transplant, and Pulmonary), 9 years of unit leadership, and the last 7 years in the design and construction field. In this role, she leverages her clinical awareness and operational knowledge to guide design decisions that support the flow and functionality of new and renovated health care spaces. Ms Shiskowsky has supported multiple new hospital towers, medical office buildings, and renovated clinical spaces. As part of a growing organization, she is also on the path to developing design templates or standards that can be replicated across the healthcare system to streamline the design process for clinical leaders.
Ms. Shiskowsky, in addition to her Bachelor's in nursing, holds an MBA, is a nurse executive, and has board certification as a nurse coach from ANCC. She is also on the Board of Directors at Women in Healthcare Denver and holds an Evidence-Based Design Certification, enabling her to continue contributing to the research body of knowledge in health care design.

Jennifer is the Director of Facility Activation at UCHealth in Denver. Over the past 7 years, she has completed projects in activation and transition, including green-field hospitals, complex master facility plans, tower additions, inpatient and outpatient expansions, and support services expansions. Jennifer has 35 years of healthcare experience, including a clinical background in physical therapy. After 20 years of clinical practice, she transitioned into Safety and Regulatory Compliance for 8 years and has since been using her skills and knowledge to improve lives by creating safe, functional spaces across diverse healthcare environments.
